Justin Nunes grew up in Fresno, CA and was exposed to agriculture as soon as he could walk. He would go out with his grandfather, who was a ranch foreman, to change the water between fields — learning firsthand the rhythms and demands of farming life.
Justin graduated college with a Master's in Business Administration in 2013, receiving senior honors and magna cum laude recognition.
Justin started his farming career as a financial analyst with one of the nation's largest stone fruit growers, then transitioned to a regional controller for the nation's largest rancher, and ultimately became CFO for one of California's most competitive almond traders.
Throughout his career, Justin focused on making sure his company's financial strength was secure so the operation could continue to thrive. He founded Simplify USDA to help farmers get registered with the USDA — procuring the financial strength to keep them moving forward when times are good and when times are challenging.
