While much of the USDA registration process can be started online, most producers will need to visit a local USDA Service Center at least once — to verify identity, sign forms, and finalize enrollment. Finding the right office ahead of time saves you a trip and gets you registered faster.

Be ready to provide your farm's legal description, acreage, and the crops or livestock you produce. FSA staff will use this to set up your farm records.
